MTS offer two DVD manufacturing processes:
1. DVD Duplication
For short run (20-500 units) DVDs are duplicated onto Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs. Discs can then be printed with either a full colour or black and white high gloss finish. We can also provide full colour digitally printed DVD booklets and wraps. Various packaging options are available from standard jewel case through to plastic wallets and C-Shells.Typically these can be turned around in 24 - 48hrs.
2. DVD Replication
For larger quantities (1000+ units) DVDs are replicated. This process involves the making of a glass master from which the DVDs are then ‘pressed’. Discs can be screen printed from one colour up to six colours. Various packing options are available from full colour card wallets through to special digi-pacs. Turnaround time is typically 10 days.
For DVD 5 masters may be supplied on DLT or DVD-R. For DVD 9 masters are only accepted on DLT.
