CD production
MTS Multimedia offer two CD manufacturing processes:
1. CD Duplication
For short run (20-999 units) CDs are duplicated onto Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs. Discs can be printed with either a full colour or black and white high gloss finish. We can also provide full colour digitally printed Digipaks, CD booklets and inlays. Various packaging options are available from standard jewel case through to plastic wallets and C-Shells. Typically these can be turned around in 24 - 48hrs.
2. CD Replication
For larger quantities (1000+ units) CDs are replicated. This process involves the making of a glass master from which the CDs are then 'pressed'. Discs can be litho printed from one colour up to five colours. Various packing options are available from full colour card wallets through to special digipaks. Turnaround time is typically 7-10 days.
As well as the standard 12cm CD MTS Multimedia can also provide CD business cards. These rectangular shaped CDs can hold up to 50Mb of data and can be printed in full colour with individual details.
All CD formats are supported: Audio CD, CD-ROM, CD-i, Data CD (Xa), Mixed Mode, Photo CD, CD-Video.
Customers may upload DDP image files and artwork using our file upload facility.
DVD production

For short run (20-400 units) DVDs are duplicated onto Taiyo Yuden DVD-Rs. Discs can be printed with either a full colour or black and white high gloss finish. We can also provide full colour digitally printed DVD booklets and wraps. Various packaging options are available from standard jewel case through to plastic wallets and C-Shells.Typically these can be turned around in 24 - 48hrs.
2. DVD Replication
For larger quantities (500+ units) DVDs are replicated. This process involves the making of a glass master from which the DVDs are then 'pressed'. Discs can be litho printed from one colour up to six colours. Various packing options are available from full colour card wallets through to special digi-packs. Turnaround time is typically 7-10 days.
For DVD 5 - masters may be supplied on DVD-R, DDP image files or DVD-R. For DVD 9 masters are only accepted as DDP image files or on DLT.
